The Cleveland Cavaliers were formed in1970. The Cavaliers are still looking for their first NBA Championship. Some of the greatest players to play in Cleveland are Mark Price, Brad Daugherty, Zydrunas Ilgauskas, Lebron James and Larry Nace. The top three Cleveland Cavaliers of All-time are LeBron James, Mark Price, and Zydrunas Ilgauskas.
No. 3: ZydrunasIlgauskas (1997 “1999 & 2000 “2010)
Ilgauskas is the Cavaliers franchise leader in career games, blocks and offensive and total rebounds. The player was a fan favorite in Cleveland and was always a dependable performer for the Cavaliers. Ilgauskas’ faithfulness to his team was notable. He was a two-time NBA-Star in his time with Cleveland. In his career with Cleveland he averaged 14 points and 8 rebounds per game.
No. 2: Mark Price (1986 “1995)
The consistent shooter was a four time NBA-All Star and All-NBA selection. He’s the Cavaliers franchise’s leader in 3 pointers made and attempted. Mark Price was the face of the organisation for several years. He always found a way to come through for his team when it mattered, and will forever be remembered for his sharp shooting and his ability to manuuver around a double team.
No. 1: Lebron James (2003 “2010)
Lebron James is by some distant, the best player the Cavs fans have ever set their eyes on. He could not lead the team to a NBA title but he made basketball fans notice and recognise who the Cleveland Cavaliers were. Lebron is the Cavs All-Times leader in minutes played, points, field goals made and attempted, three pointer attempted, steals and free throws made and attempted. He developed into a six time All-Star, Rookie of the Year in 2004, NBA MVP in 2009 and 2010, six time All-NBA selection and two time All-Defensive team selection. If you bet the NBA, more times than not your money was on James and the Cavaliers. James is the main reason for the Cavaliers going to the playoffs from 2006 thru 2010 and the NBA Finals in 2007 for the 1st time in franchise history.
Cleveland had very little to get excited about before picking James as the number one overall pick in the 2003 draft. James’ exit from Cleveland didn’t go so well to say the least. In spite of how the Cavaliers and Lebron concluded their relationship with one another, he without question the Cleveland Cavaliers best player in History.
